EVolocity
Mentoring the next generation of New Zealand Engineers.
EVolocity is a charitable organisation that focuses on educating kiwis on the environmental and economic benefits of electric vehicles (EV’s) while growing youth interest in technology and engineering.
The annual EVolocity Electric Vehicle Build programme, now in its sixth year sees high school teams equipped with an EV componentry kit and during the year they design and build their own EV’s. At the end of the year, regional and national events are held to showcase and test their performance. Prior to the end of year events students bring their vehicles to a regional location where scrutineers assess them as fit-for-purpose for race day.
Linkeight Director Jeremy Robbie has proudly been involved as a scrutineer at the Wellington, Manawatu and Nelson regional pre scrutineering events for the past few years, providing feedback and recommendations to students on their vehicle design so they can make modifications/corrections before the regional final.

Linkeight are currently exploring how they can further get involved in this fantastic initiative by looking at adding to the tools which are supplied to the students.

Distilled Spirits Aotearoa (NZ) Inc represents a group of distilled spirits manufacturers and associated groups and individuals, passionate about promoting our New Zealand-made products and representing the joint interests of all NZ makers of distilled spirit products.
